Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16 at 11 am at the First United Methodist Church in Raymond. She attended high school in Raymond and was Valedictorian of the 1952 graduating class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Allene Hookom and her husband Kenneth, Brother Allen Johnson and his wife Mary, Sister Arlys Molenaar and her husband Melvin, Brother Daryl Johnson, and Brothers-in-law John Jaenisch and Donald Sabin.
In lieu of gifts to the family, donations to Raymond Fire and Rescue, and Central Minnesota Christian Schools Building Fund would be appreciated.
They made their home on the Swart family farm in Holland Township, Kandiyohi County, Minnesota for the better part of 60 years until they both transitioned to an apartment in Raymond and later to the Clara City Care Center. Over the years she became an avid gardener and through the University of Minnesota Extension Office she became a Master Gardener and served for 36 years.

La Vonne June Swart died Thursday June 7, 2018, at Rice Memorial Hospital while surrounded by her family.Cloud; five grandchildren: Sharon (and Jeffrey) Dingman, Susan Nelson (and special friend, Michael), Aaron (and Nicki) Wells, Amber (and Drew) Nielsen, and Adrien Wells (and special friend, Katie); and seven great-grandchildren: Cyril Rogers, Isabelle Rogers, Aiden Rogers, Mason Calhoun, Lindsey Calhoun, Nora Wells, and Amelia Wells.Also surviving are a brother: Alvin (and Char) Ledeboer; four sisters: Luella Swart, Harriet (and Robert) Hasper, Jean (and Joel) Peters, and Connie (and Daryl) Berghuis; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.Beatrice Elaine Kleinhuizen was born March 22, 1931 on a farm near Prinsburg, Minnesota, to Albert H. She was baptized and professed her faith at First Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg.She received her education at Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg and at Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa, graduating in 1949.
On July 16, 1954, she was married to Luverne Kleinhuizen. They lived in the Renville and Prinsburg area before moving to Willmar in 1966.
