Sophos is not updating
This time our update manager looks to be working fine however we are not getting updates.
In the log viewer app everything looks great except I see this message from time to time starting from the 15th: 2014/09/18 PM Information The synchronization of protection data for product release 'Sophos Patch Server' was successful, but no new data was found.
If all is not well, proceed to the second lternative.
Use the verify section below to confirm all is well.
After a reboot perform a Sophos update by right clicking the Sophos icon (by the clock) and selecting "Update now" as shown below.
Hello All, So yeah I am back with another Sophos Console problem.
Those locations are: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Auto Update -or- C:\Program Data\Sophos\Auto1If I restart the PC with this problem and boot into Safe Mode, log in then out, the bad file is automatically deleted, restart into normal Windows and try the install again.

I'm receiving either an "Installation of Sophos Auto Update Failed [0x00000008]" error or an "A runtime error occurred. From my testing, when this error occurs it's because the Auto Update folder that's created in either of the following locations has messed up permissions.
